We are delighted to welcome James D’Alessandro to Young’s List following his signing of the Victorian Bar Roll.
James practises in all areas of corporate, commercial and insolvency law. He also has experience in administrative and public law, particularly judicial review proceedings.
Prior to coming to the Bar, James was a Senior Associate in the Commercial Disputes team at Mallesons, where he represented clients in a broad range of complex commercial matters.
James has acted in contractual disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct claims, misuse of market power proceedings and fraud claims. He has also defended large corporations in class actions and acted for insolvency practitioners in both personal and corporate insolvencies. He has successfully obtained urgent interlocutory relief, including freezing orders and search and seizure orders.
James is reading with Raini Zambelli, and his senior mentor is Kathleen Foley SC.
