Young’s List is delighted to welcome D’Arcy Hope, who signed the Victorian Bar Roll on 5 May 2022.
D’Arcy practices in a broad range of commercial law and public law matters.
Prior to coming to the Bar, D’Arcy was a solicitor in King and Wood Mallesons’ and Norton Rose Fulbright’s commercial litigation teams. He has particular experience in contract, financial services, class actions, competition and consumer, construction, arbitration, administrative law and Royal Commissions. D’Arcy also has experience as in-house counsel from being seconded to Transurban and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
D’Arcy holds undergraduate degrees in Law (Hons) and Arts, a diploma of languages (Chinese), and is expected to graduate from a postgraduate degree in Law in May 2022. D’Arcy received the highest mark in his cohort for Administrative Law and International Commercial Litigation as part of his undergraduate studies. He is also a sessional academic at Deakin University, where he has been involved in many commercial law and public law subjects, including teaching constitutional law and torts.
