Daniel Aghion KC has a broad civil and commercial litigation practice, including advice and appearances in matters concerning property, commercial and contract law, equity, trade practices, insurance and professional negligence, construction and torts.

Daniel has gained particular experience in legal issues concerning property development, contamination and clean-up, pharmacy and insurance (including re-insurance).

He is lsted as a leading Australian Lawyer in Best Lawyers (alternate dispute resolution, construction/infrastructure law, professional malpractice litigation and property law). In 2018, Best Lawyers named Daniel as “Lawyer of the Year” for professional malpractice litigation in Melbourne. He is listed in Legal 500 as a leading silk in Australia in the area of commercial disputes. As a junior barrister, he was also listed in Chambers and Partners.

In 2014, Daniel received the Ron Merkel QC award from the Victorian Bar for his pro bono advice and advocacy in respect of homelessness and senior law.
