Grant has a broad commercial practice.  He appears in a range of commercial matters (including corporations, insolvency and insurance matters) and regularly acts in equity, trusts and property matters.  He is often briefed to give advice, both written and in conference.

Before coming to the Bar, Grant practiced as a solicitor in the commercial disputes and insolvency teams at Minter Ellison.  More recently, Grant was the Senior Associate to the Honourable Justice Almond at the Supreme Court of Victoria (Commercial Court).

Grant is a sessional teacher in trusts law and property law at Monash University and has had papers published in a number of journals.  Recent example of published works are 'A Contractual Path Around Proportionate Liability?' (2018) 34 BCL 5 (available here) and ‘Setting Aside Expert Determinations – A Comprehensive Review’ (2018) 92 ALJ 529 (available here).

Grant holds a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours from Monash University.  He read with Rob Heath QC.
