Toby Borgeest comes to the Bar following 18 years as a commercial and civil litigation lawyer in a large national practice. In recent years, Toby has specialised in large commercial litigation projects, with a focus on shareholder class actions, professional negligence claims against lawyers, accountants, financial advisers and auditors, private company shareholder disputes, consumer protection and insolvency. Toby has particular expertise in all aspects of workplace relations law, including industrial relations disputes, industrial instrument enforcement, employment contract claims, statutory protections including dismissal and discrimination matters, disputes arising from union rules and elections, and regulators’ inquiries and prosecutions.
Fiona Cameron practises in commercial and administrative law, with particular experience in matters in the Supreme and Federal Courts. Before coming to the Bar, Fiona was Associate to the Honourable Justice Pagone of the Federal Court of Australia, assisting his Honour in a broad range of commercial and public law matters including intellectual property, trade practices, administrative law, taxation, bankruptcy and insolvency, immigration, industrial law, discrimination and admiralty and maritime law. Prior to this, Fiona was an Associate at the Supreme Court of Victoria, where she assisted primarily in matters in the commercial trial division. Fiona was previously employed by Crawford Legal, an Adelaide-based boutique commercial and construction law firm.
