Young’s List is delighted to welcome Bart Carew to the List. Bart is a highly effective litigator and advocate with wide ranging experience covering the broad spectrum of commercial law. Bart is particularly experienced in banking and finance, insolvency, property law and the area of wills and probate.
Bart’s practice includes all aspects of the bank-customer relationship, including both enforcing and setting-aside different types of personal and corporate loan agreements, mortgages, guarantees and other related securities.
Bart is experienced in acting for creditors (secured and unsecured), debtors, officeholders, liquidators, administrators and receivers in respect of insolvency related matters. His thorough knowledge of insolvency law provides clients with valuable insights in other commercial contexts.
Complementing Bart’s Banking and Insolvency practice is his expertise in all aspects of probate. His litigation experience includes cases of testamentary incapacity (including issues of medical and psychiatric evidence) and he has also dealt with issues of forgery, undue influence and want of knowledge and approval.
