In Halal Certification Authority Pty Ltd v Flujo Sanguineo Holdings Pty Ltd [2023] FCAFC 175, Justin Castelan acted for the respondents in the trial, where the respondents successfully defended a claim that they had infringed the applicant’s trademark and also won their cross-claim whereby the applicant’s trademark was removed from the Register. Justin then also appeared for the respondents in the appeal before the Full Federal Court, where the respondents were fully successful again.
