Young’s List barrister Holly Jager has secured a strong outcome in the County Court of Victoria.
In Kith v SLH Industries Pty Ltd & Heng (No 2) [2025] VCC 1177 (Wise J), the Court sentenced the second defendant to 10 weeks’ imprisonment for 11 criminal contempts arising from repeated non-production of bank statements despite six production orders over nearly two years. The conduct was held contumacious and therefore criminal contempt.
A complex, highly technical matter — and a well-deserved result for the client. Holly Jager appeared for the plaintiff, instructed by Stephens Lawyers & Consultants.v
