The workshop focused on the rules of evidence as they concern civil litigation, including witnesses, tendering documents, hearsay, expert evidence, tendency and coincidence evidence, privilege and exclusion of evidence. Andrew discussed the relevant section of the Evidence Act, the most recent caselaw on each area and then went through a hypothetical on each area to ensure the attendees were familiar with the rules being discussed.
