Mitch has over ten years’ experience in civil litigation, with expertise in commercial disputes and insolvency.

He commenced his career as Associate to the Honourable Justice Ferguson (as her Honour then was) in the Corporations List of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Mitch subsequently practised as a solicitor, primarily at Holding Redlich, where he was appointed a Senior Associate. He would advise insolvency practitioners on all aspects of their engagements and manage small teams in complex proceedings in the Victorian and Federal Courts.

In 2022, Mitch was seconded to the Victorian Department of Health, working in house advising the State Government on a class action arising out of pandemic related measures. Before coming to the Bar, he was a Principal Solicitor at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office.

Mitch is reading with Daniel Snyder, and his senior mentor is Dr Oren Bigos KC.
