Kieran Hickie has a broad commercial and equity practice, and more than 15 years’ experience as a barrister, solicitor and judge’s associate.  Kieran is an accredited mediator.  Kieran has particular experience in matters involving:

Kieran regularly acts for domestic and international clients across a range of industries, including in the banking, professional services, property development, agriculture, manufacturing, retail, mining, education and construction sectors.

Kieran appears both unled and led in a range of matters in superior courts, including the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia, and in lower courts and tribunals.

Before being called to the bar, Kieran was an associate to the Honourable Justice Croft in the Commercial Court of the Supreme Court of Victoria.  Kieran completed his graduate year at Gadens Lawyers, and then practised as a solicitor in the firm’s property group and dispute resolution group.

Kieran is a co-author of Australian Commercial Arbitration (published by LexisNexis).
