Georgia maintains a broad commercial practice, both as sole counsel and as junior.
Georgia regularly appears in state and federal courts and tribunals. She has particular expertise in large scale litigation, class actions and matters involving complex expert issues, including contamination. Some of Georgia’s other recent matters concern:

Prior to joining the Bar, Georgia was the Associate to Justice John Dixon in the Supreme Court of Victoria, in the common law division of the court. Georgia also worked as a solicitor at the Melbourne office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King and Wood Mallesons) in the Litigation and Intellectual Property departments.
Georgia holds an LLM from the University of Melbourne, where her studies focused upon equity and commercial law, intellectual property, royal commissions and inquiries and torts.
Georgia is a member of the Executive of the Commercial Bar Association and the Bar’s Readers’ Course Committee.
Georgia is actively involved in providing pro bono assistance to the community through the Bar’s Pro Bono Scheme and as a member of the barrister panel for the Consumer Action Law Centre.
Georgia is the author of a legal blog examining current legal trends: www.withoutprejudice.blog and regularly presents CPDs on various topics, some of which are accessible above under the tab ‘Publications’.

- Jabiru Satellite Ltd (In Liq) & NewSat Ltd (In Liq) v Societe Generale & Ors (Supreme Court of Victoria) – Acting for French government trade credit insurer, alleged to have engaged in unconscionable conduct in collapse of satellite construction finance agreements with substantial damages claimed. Security for costs ruling: [2022] VSC 521 (led by C Juebner KC, appearing with H Aprile, proceeding ongoing).
- Cooper Energy Ltd v PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (Indonesia) (Supreme Court of Victoria) – Acting for plaintiff gas exploration joint venture, contractual dispute regarding abandonment costs of decomissioning offshore gas exploration from former joint venture member (led by D Aghion KC, proceeding ongong).
- Parks Victoria -ats- J.J. Savages & Anor (Supreme Court of Victoria) – Acting for Parks Victoria in property dispute concerning alleged extensions of lease and licensing arrangements (led by C Shaw KC, settled at trial 2023).
- Alphington Developments Pty Ltd v Amcor Ltd (No 5) [2023] VSC 637 – long running contractual dispute regarding costs of contaminated land remediation, demolition works at Alphington Paper Mill (led by M Osborne QC (prior to his Honour’s appointment) and D Aghion KC, appearing with A Downie, N Cozens and C Hender).
- Payton Securities Ltd v Mason White McDougall (Hurstbridge) Pty Ltd & Ors –[2022] VSC 394 acting for defendant real estate agent alleged to have engaged in misleading or deceptive conduct and deceit concerning representations alleged concerning property sales. Expert issues included fraudulent document analysis (led by R Moore).
- JT & CV P/L v Vaspak P/L & Anor (Supreme Court of Victoria) – acting for beneficiaries seeking winding up of family unit trust following complex family dispute regarding trust assets (2024, unled proceeding ongoing).
- L&Q Group P/L & Ors v Xing & Ors (Supreme Court of Victoria) – acting for directors, shareholders and companies alleging unlawful removal from positions and company register, breach of directors’ duties. Urgent injunction successfully obtained restraining remaining directors from use of bank accounts and taking steps in name of companies (2022, unled)
- GLP Blackbut Pty Ltd v National Agricultural Services & Ors (County Court) – acting for defendant company alleged to have caused herbicide damage to vineyard due to alleged contaminated agricultural spray (unled, settled prior to trial 2022).
- In the mater of AGW Funds Management Ltd [2017] VSC 124 – successfully appearing for over 40 lot holders of a Managed Investment Scheme, opposing the Responsible Entity’s application for judicial advice (unled).
- Rowe v Ausnet Electricity Services – Acting for Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning in the defence of the Murrindindi Bushfire Class Action from 2013 to 2015 (Supreme Court of Victoria, led by P Anastassiou KC, P Zappia KC, A Pound SC).
