Prior to coming to the Bar, Paul worked at Linklaters LLP, London, in competition law, and Hausfeld & Co LLP, London, in commercial litigation.

Prior to that, Paul was Associate to Justice McMillan in the Supreme Court of Victoria, then Associate to the Reserve Judges in the Court of Appeal in the Supreme Court of Victoria (including Justices Ashley, Bongiorno AO and Coghlan).

Paul graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts (with a major in Classics) and a Bachelor of Laws, receiving the top marks in Restitution and Corporations Law. Paul also holds a Master’s in Ancient Philosophy from the University of Oxford.

Paul has tutored at Ormond College in Trusts, Contracts, Remedies, and Dispute Resolution.

Paul read with Michael Rush QC. His Senior Mentor is Justice Wheelahan.
