Young’s List is delighted to welcome Lisa Lo Piccolo.
Lisa came to the Bar in November 2000. Lisa was appointed Solicitor-General of Nauru in late 2010. She spent three years working in the Republic of Nauru as Solicitor-General, and subsequently, Secretary for Justice and Border Control. She was the first law officer of the Republic and conducted and oversaw all litigation both locally and internationally. She has an extensive working knowledge of the laws of Nauru (including the Constitution) and other Islands of the Pacific (specifically Fiji).
Lisa was then appointed a Member of the Migration and Refugee Tribunal, and Member of the Migration and Refugee Division of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. She has developed expert knowledge in all migration law matters including the Act and regulations, AAT reviews, and Federal Circuit and Federal Court appeals.
