On Wednesday 9th November 2016, Dr Michelle Sharpe, will be presenting as part of Monash University’s Commercial CPD Seminar on Good Faith Obligations in Commercial Contracts.
It has been said that good faith does not import an equitable notion of the fiduciary that is rooted in loyalty to another in the service of her or his interests. Rather, it is rooted in honest and reasonable fair dealing.
Dr Sharpe, together with The Honourable Chief Justice Marilyn Warren AC and Professor Bryan Horrigan, will be speaking on the current state of good faith in Victorian and Australian jurisprudence with particular focus on the consumer protection legislation and commercial contracts.
