Young’s List is proud to announce that David Goodwin has been appointed the MBA Director of RMIT University, responsible for the university’s MBA and MBA (Executive) programs.
David has been a member of the faculty of RMIT’s Graduate School of Business and Law since February 2014. In June 2015 he was appointed Director of Juris Doctor Programs, and was in charge of RMIT’s postgraduate legal courses.
He now switches to take responsibility for the MBA program.
David has expertise in commercial law and alternative dispute resolution. He came to the Bar in 2010 after a career of more than two decades with publicly listed companies as an external affairs executive and corporate lawyer. He was Vice President Corporate Affairs for Singapore’s Neptune Orient Lines from 2005 to 2010 and Executive Vice President Corporate Affairs of Melbourne-based BlueScope Steel from 2000 to 2010. David joined Young’s List in 2013.
At RMIT David teaches Corporate Governance and Law of Torts. He is a highly qualified Arbitrator and Mediator, as a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is also the current President of the Victorian branch of the Maritime Law Association of Australia and New Zealand.
