The 2015 International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot (IMLAM) is being held in Melbourne from 3 to 7 July 2015. The IMLAM Moot, which is organised by Murdoch University and hosted by RMIT, is designed to expose law students to the intellectual challenges of maritime law by researching and advocating complex real life scenarios in their teams over a period of six months. Teams from universities all over the world have registered to attend the Melbourne Moot, including teams from the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia.
Young’s List barristers, Matthew Harvey, Andrew Downie, David Goodwin, Margo Harris, Dan Coombes and Nico Burmeister will be acting as arbitrators during the Moot. Three arbitrators will sit as a panel for each of the 46 moots to be held during the competition.
