Oliver practises in all areas of commercial and public law.

Before coming to the Bar, he practised as a solicitor at Allens for five years in its disputes team and was an Associate at the Federal Court of Australia to the Honourable Justice John Middleton AM.

Oliver has been involved in complex disputes in a variety of courts. He has particular experience in contractual and trust disputes, class actions, insolvency matters and in regulatory investigations and commissions of inquiry (including royal commissions). He also has experience in migration and other judicial review matters.

Oliver is reading with David Morgan, and his senior mentor is Dr Michael Rush KC.
