Nik has a broad practice in commercial law.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Nik was a Senior Associate at Aptum Legal where he worked in general commercial litigation. During his time at Aptum, Nik managed large-scale litigation, including the Forum Finance proceedings, multi-week trials and arbitrations.  Nik also appeared as a solicitor-advocate in Court and mediations.

Outside of the law, Nik is the Deputy Chair of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA) and has served on the Board since 2023. Prior to EMDRAA, Nik was a Board Member at Kingston Heath Golf Club.

Nik, raised in North East Victoria, is approachable and easy-going with a commercial perspective.

Nik holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, and has completed the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Nik is reading with Jesse Rudd and his senior mentor is Dr Charles Parkinson KC.
