Nicholas Li practices broadly in commercial and public law, with a particular focus on class actions, competition and consumer protection and media law.

Nicholas has a particular interest in matters involving the media and technology industries.

Before coming to the Bar, Nicholas was an Associate at Phi Finney McDonald where he practiced in commercial class actions. During this time Nicholas gained substantial experience in large-scale continuous disclosure and consumer matters involving the banking and finance sector. He also practiced in a competition class action involving misuse of market power.

Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Journalism (Distinction) from Monash University and completed internships at The Age and CBD News. He also holds a Juris Doctor (A Grade Pass) from La Trobe University.

Nicholas is reading with Timothy Maxwell and his senior mentor is Michael Borsky KC.
