Gayann holds a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Molecular Biology, cum laude in addition to her Juris Doctor, cum laude. At law school, Gayann was an editor of the Moot Court Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy. Gayann also received numerous academic accolades including the Carol DiMati Memorial Scholarship, Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in Environmental Law and was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal honours fraternity.
Prior to coming to the Bar Gayann was a Senior Solicitor at the Victorian Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.
Gayann read with Alistair Pound KC and her senior mentor is Rob Heath, KC.
