Andrew is an experienced and successful trial advocate with extensive experience in banking and finance matters, property, equity, corporations, insurance and insolvency. He has conducted numerous trials in the Supreme, Federal and County Courts, as well as VCAT. Andrew is also available to be briefed for urgent injunctions, applications and appeals.

Andrew is listed as a leading Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Junior Counsel in Victoria in Doyle’s Guide 2021.

Andrew also provides strategic legal advice. He is available to take direct access briefs for advice work from in-house solicitors and clients.

Andrew brings expert experience to his banking and finance and commercial cases having worked previously as an investment banker in London and Australia. This experience provides him with a strong knowledge of finance, investment and accounting issues. He has successfully acted in many cases involving negligent financial and legal advice, failed investments and loans and investment fraud.

Andrew also has extensive knowledge and practical experience of governance issues with corporate and not for profit boards, including clubs and incorporated associations.

He is currently a member of the Young’s List Committee. From 2011 to 2017 he was the Chairman of the Banking and Finance section of the Commercial Bar Association.
